MOTHER - Mother's Day Card 2012

When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.
 — Sophia Loren

My Mother's Day card share for today is simple but beautiful.  Have you made your Mother's Day card yet?  This one is easy to CASE!

The card stock for the card base is Wild Wasabi.  I used an Aqua Painter and lightly dipped it into the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and covered the card stock to provide a nice sheen.

The following picture provides a view of the poem, MOTHER, that is inside the card.  It is encircled on the card front with an oval piece of Whisper White Card Stock that is embellished with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The pink flower at the top of the card is made with Pretty In Pink Card Stock and three flowers that were punched out with the Blossom Punch, which expires next Tuesday along with the Occassions Mini Catalog.  I hate to see the punch go as it's such a cool punch.  Don't delay if you've not gotten yours!

The Daffodil Delight flowers at the card's bottom were created with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch that is retiring at the end of May.  Get it while you can!

I think that you can visually get a good idea on how to CASE this card.  I hope you enjoy it!

What types of gifts do you plan to provide for your Mom?  If she's a paper craft person, give her Stampin' Up! products; I'm sure she'll be delighted!

God's Blessings!
