Stampin' Up! Hearts Collection Framelits

Haven't you loved using the Stampin' Up! Hearts Collection Framelits?  I have thoroughly enjoyed them and am happy to have them as one of my many tools.

Have you enjoyed making your Valentine Cards this season?  What is your favorite one that you created?  What is your favorite one of mine?  I've enjoyed making my cards and I believe today's share is my favorite.  It is my last Valentine Card share for this season.  I hope you enjoy it!

(You can click on the pictures to enlarge them.)

The shimmery shininess of the beautiful Red Glimmer Paper graces the card as its first layer.  The card's outer edge supports the lovely Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon that I folded and glued into a ruffle pattern.  The Whisper White cardstock glistens with the Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz, and the elegant Basic Pearls adds a touch of class to the card.

This following picture is a closeup that provides you with a better view of the layers I created with the Framelits.

The card's inside is enhanced with a Whisper White scalloped heart made with the largest of the Heart Framelits.

I sure would enjoy knowing if my Valentine Cards have inspired you in any way this season!

Stampin' Up! Large Paper Doily Die, Trinket Hearts, and Sweet Shop DSP Valentine Card

My friends, the season for Valentine Cards is winding down and I have just a couple more Stampin' Up! Valentine Cards to share.  This Valentine card's primary features are the Large Paper Doily Die, Trinket Hearts, Adorning Accents Edgelits, and Stampin' Up! Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The card's first layer of polka dot paper is from the In Color 2011-2013 Patterns Stack DSP.  It's a perfect background for the polka dot design from the Sweet Shop DSP.  I used the new Adorning Accents Edgelits on the top and bottom of the first layer.

(Click on pictures to enlarge them.)

Did you notice the Lucky Limeade twine around the heart? It's actually Stampin' Up!'s White Baker's Twine that I dipped in a combination of water and Lucky Limeade from a reinker.
Hopefully you have enjoyed this card!  If you have, please share on FB by clicking the FB buttom below the post.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Collection Framelits - Valentine Card

What are your favorite colors for Valentine cards?  I don't have a favorite.  Therefore I am not adverse to using non-traditional colors, as I did  for this Valentine card that features the Stampin' Up! Hearts Collection Framelits.  As you can see, my non-traditional colors are pink and green.  I added some doodling on the primary piece of the card.  Enjoy!

Adorning Accents Emboss Folder, French Vintage - Valentine Card

Are you having fun using the new Stampin' Up! Adorning Accents Embossing Folders?  I used the one with multiple hearts to embellish the top and bottom of my card, in addition to three of the hearts in the card's centerpiece.

I used one of the stamps from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration, Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (125117), to create the background upon which the centerpiece sits.  The centerpiece was made by using the Stampin' Up! Heart-to-Heart Punch and the new Embosslits Fashionable Hearts, and they are embellished with Crystal Effects.  I randomly attached the hearts onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and drew the swirls, curls and leaves in black ink.  The curls and swirls are embellished with Basic Rhinestones, and the leaves are embossed with Silver Stampin' Embossing Powder.

The cardstock and designer series paper used on the card front is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Lastly, I added two pieces of the Cherry Cobbler Scallop Dots Ribbon near the top and bottom of the card.  I hope you enjoy this card!!

Bigz Element Bird Die, Sweet Shop DSP - Valentine Card

Isn't the new Stampin' Up! Bigz Elegant Bird Die adorable?  I used him for the primary element on this Valentine Card.  The paper used on the first card layer is one of the designs from the Sweet Shop Designer Series Specialty Paper, which dictated my color choices.

I cut out the bird using Pool Party Cardstock and covered it with the new White Waffle Paper to give it some texture.  Then I embellished one wing with the Adorning Accents Hearts Embossing FolderI embossed both wings with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder.  Around the bird's neck I hung a Trinket Heart that contains a "Be Mine" sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Outlined Occasions Stamp Set (126016).  It is difficult to see as I inserted Crystal Effects, which sometimes distorts lettering.  Maybe the picture below will give you a better view.  And the next picture shows the added hearts onto the bird's tail features (did you notice that?).

The tiny hearts are from what remains as cutouts after using the Pinking Heart Border Punch.  I thought why waste them, so I added them here and there on the card.  If you enjoyed the card, please leave a comment.

Take it to Heart and Hearts Framelits - Valentine Card

Are you enjoying the new Stampin' Up! Hearts Framelits?  Aren't they fantastic?  Or maybe you haven't ordered them yet!  Please do; you'll love them!  I used one when developing this card.

I water colored the primary element on this card - the stamped bird and flowers heart-shaped image that is from the gorgeous stamp set, Take it to Heart.  I used one of the Hearts Framelits to cut out the stamped image.  I used the same framelit to cut out the heart in the center of the card's first layer, the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, and then slipped the water-colored piece inside.  The banner that holds the sentiment is also from the Take it to Heart stamp set.  The sentiment, "Be My Valentine", is from the Sweet Cake stamp set, and the small heart stamp from the Take it to Heart stamp set was used to stamp Cherry Cobbler ink onto the card's first layer.  The card base was made with Island Indigo Cardstock.   The hearts in the four corners of the card were cut out with the Heart to Heart Punch and embellished with the new hearts Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.   I hope you enjoy today's feature!

This picture provides a closeup of the water-colored bird and flowers.

Framelits, Fresh Vintage, and I {Heart} Hearts Valentine Card

Are you enjoying your Stampin' Up! 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog?  Isn't it full of beautiful stamps, papers, dies, and embellishments?   Today's card features one of the Occasions Mini products and others from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Catalog that debuts on January 24th.

If I have to say it myself, I think this Valentine Card is beautiful.  The center piece of the card features Stampin' Up!'s new Framelits Dies, the Labels Collection from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used two sizes of the labels framelits dies to cut Silver Glimmer Paper*, Whisper White, and Basic Black frames.  After cutting the Basic Black frame, I used paper snips to cut off about an 1/8" around the frame.  This gives the appearance that I used three separate framelits dies.  The Silver Glimmer Paper* behind the Basic Black frame gives the centerpiece a nice pop.

The centerpiece's floral image (beneath the hearts) on the Whisper White frame is from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (125117-Clear) from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  This stamp set is FREE when you purchase $50 of Stampin' Up! products (taxes and shipping apply) during Sale-A-Bration.  Atop the floral image are three hearts, one of which is made with the Silver Glimmer Paper*, and two made from stamp images in the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set.  These images were stamped with Real Red Ink and embellished with Basic Rhinestones.  Behind the centerpiece is a piece of Real Red Cardstock that is embellished with the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The sentiment "Be Mine" is from another Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, the Outlines Occasions (126016), which is also FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch to create the embellishment on the left side of the card, and a ribbon strip and bow made with retired Stampin' Up! ribbon on the right side.  Enjoy!

*The Silver Glimmer Paper is a "carry over" from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog.

VALENTINE OWL & PUNCH BUNCH

CHECK OUT MY NEW WEBSITE:  http://stampingwithguneauxdesigns.com

Can you tolerate another OWL card?  I knew you would say, "Yes".  Today's share is my Valentine Owl card.  This card's primary feature is the owl stamp of the Stampin' Up! (SU) Sale-a-bration Punch Bunch.  This stamp set is free with the purchase of $50 in SU products or a $300 net sales workshop.

This card is meant for a best girlfriend.  The sentiment, "Whooose Your Valentine?" and the stamp, "Friend" is meant to be read as, "Whooose your Valentine, Friend?"  The sentiment, "Whooose Your Valentine", was made with My Digital Studio (MDS) and cut with the banner portion of the wonderful Petal Cone Bigz Die.  (Isn't it great that if you don't have a stamp that meets your need, all you need to do is create it with MDS?)
